Update Regarding Master Painters Association Scholarship Renewals & Applications
Association of Master Painters and Decorators of New York, Inc. has begun to receive scholarship applications and transcripts for scholarship renewals and would like all existing recipients and potential applicants to be aware of the following changes to the application/renewal process due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
- Applications for new scholarships can be obtained by emailing Esther Sebro-Borneo at ehborneo@masterpaintersny.com
- Completed applications must be emailed to Bruce Ruinsky at bruinsky@masterpaintersny.com with copy to Esther Sebro-Borneo at ehborneo@masterpaintersny.com
- Transcripts will be accepted by email to Bruce Ruinsky at bruinsky@masterpaintersny.com with copy to Esther Sebro-Borneo at ehborneo@masterpaintersny.com
- In the event in-person interviews are unable to be conducted, applicants must email Bruce Ruinsky at bruinsky@masterpaintersny.com to schedule a telephone interview
- Time limits in the applications will be addressed on a case by case basis by email request
- If you are an applicant and your school has cancelled the fall session due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you must notify Bruce Ruinsky at bruinsky@masterpaintersny.com
Despite the recent disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage all eligible applicants and existing recipients to continue to pursue scholarship opportunities available to you through District Council 9 and the Association of Master Painters and Decorators of New York, Inc.
